Perils of Pearl

This week's pic comes from Perils of Pearl, a short comic project for sale at Redd's Place. PoP #0 is a prequel where we meet the charming young Pearl Summers, her best friend Coral, and get tantalizing glimpse of their sensual, private dance session. Or is it private? Pearl is already attracting the kind of attention that will lead to future Perils.
PoP is drawn by Redd and illustrated by AJ. We are already discussing future adventures for Pearl. We'd  love to hear your feedback on this series.

Yep. You think so, I think so, and Gorilla the bouncer thinks so. Pearl was a blast to draw and I learned a lot about doing comics from doing it. This project made me eager to do more comics in the future.

This AJ reporting. If Susan is the painter, then I am the bard. That's a fancy way of saying Susan drew it, but I wrote it. The net result of the story and writing is the result of us working together quite bit.

I'd love to hear feedback as well.

Hi, AJ. Ooops, didn't have enough coffee the morning I wrote that post. You've got it right; you are the writer of PoP, and you're a lot of fun to work with--on art in general and on comics in particular. I'll be sending more comments the second Pearl script soon--hopefully in late February.
